About Taradale Taekwondo
Taradale Taekwondo practices World Taekwondo (WT) and is a GOLD member of the NZ governing body, Taekwondo NZ.
Taradale TKD was established to teach the late Grand Master Jung Nam Lee’s World Taekwondo Martial Art to future generations in the Intermediate and High School age group. We incorporate modern Kukkiwon syllabus (Patterns, Sparring and Technique) for competition and grading. Our School of Taekwondo goes back 40 odd years in the region and is active nationally and internationally in competition.
Taradale Taekwondo observes the Tenets of Taekwondo - Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit. These tenets serve as guiding principles for our members, fostering personal growth and character development. Our Rules and Etiquette are to ensure a safe environment to train successfully.

Led by Instructor Robb - Kukkiwon 4th Dan & 3rd class International Master, Our team of instructors bring a wealth of experience and expertise to guide students in their Taekwondo journey. With years of dedicated training in their feilds of expertise, our instructors are committed to being supportive partners in each student's development, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere for learning. Whether it is Technique, Self Defence or Competition our instructors have it covered.
